What's Happening In Your World
By Victor Trammell Actor and screenwriter Matt Damon claims he voted for President Obama in 2008 and 2012. However, the 42-year-old film star contends that he is not satisfied with Obama’s work so far as president. Damon also says that he has given up on believing in America’s political system. In an interview with Playboy Magazine, the Oscar-winning actor bemoaned the partisan politics of Washington D.C. and criticized the short-sightedness of today’s politicians. He said: “The fix is in, the game is rigged and no matter how hard you work to change things, it just doesn’t matter. “We’re at a point where politicians don’t really get any benefit from engaging with long-term issues. Instead, it’s all about the next election cycle. Those guys in the House don’t do anything now but run for office. So unless they can find some little thing that zips them up a couple of points in the polls, they’re not interested.” (Playboy Magazine) This isn’t the first time Damon has been critical of Obama and American politics. Last year, he talked negativley about Obama’s first term. Damon quoted associates of his who did not enjoy the result of their hard work doing grassroots organizing for President Obama’s first campaign. Damon said: “I’ve talked to a lot of people who worked for Obama at the grassroots level. One of them said to me, ‘Never again. I will never be fooled again by a politician.’ You know, a one-term president with some b***s who actually got stuff done would have been, in the long run of the country, much better.” Also in Damon’s Playboy interview, he stated that Supreme Court appointments in Obama’s second term will probably be suitable. The High Court’s potential was Damon’s only real rationale for voting for President Obama’s re-election. He quoted: “I assume there will be some Supreme Court appointments in this next term,” he said. “That alone was reason to vote for him.” (Playboy Magazine)

  3. Who cares stick to acting Your the 1%

  4. Matt Just another Pale-Face demon, I don't think he's a good actor? And care less, what the Pale_face Reptilian demon has to say.

  5. Matt Damon is correct in a sense; but we have to remember it's a two-way street. Check the record. Obama has said OVER AND OVER AND OVER again "I can't do it alone." He keeps coming to THE PEOPLE because he has also said "I cannot work in Washington politics… I have to take it to THE PEOPLE." And he did. The first thing he jumped on was Obamacare and folks ran and hid like he had just announced he's spreading the plague. They warmed up to it after he and some other folks in DC went it alone.

Black folk especially did not turn out for midterms 2010 and vote a STRAIGHT BLUE ticket and that opened the door wide open for the TEA PARTY whose only goal was to stop him from getting anything done, and they didn't give a flying F who they hurt in the process.

In the meantime, all they've done is obstruct because he's black, he won and they hate him.

Now back to Obama. He didn't act quickly enough or hard enough to get Bush's people out of office was everyone was still raging hot coals over Bush's legacy, which crashed to the very end.

There's only one solution left, since we know we let the Tea Party take over Congress and get in his way and he had to go centrist and turn a semi-hard right because they are in control and we were the only ones who had the power to change it. Obama said that from Day 1.

Now… the only thing left that we CAN do is vote them out during Midterms 2014, because we already know they're going to stomp on him for the next two years.

But anyone who runs this country and says "rape can be legitimate," tells women what to do with their bodies, is against abortion, but says it's okay to kill kids after they are born by gunning them down in the streets or sending them to war to fight for rich folks' money, anyone who advocates for the NRA, who says all black people want is "free stuff," and steps all over "illegal immigrants" when they're not in this country legally themselves according to the Natives… who ridicule and mock and consistently disrespect a black man just because he IS black… NEED TO BE TOSSED OUT OF OFFICE.

We are in position to FIRE THEM, stateside and federal… and move them out of his way. That's on us.

Pres Obama: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OofHuLW6xdM. He's doing all he can, where are THE PEOPLE who voted for him because they believed what he said at first?

THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO QUIT, this is the time to dig in our heels and get those b-tards out of the driver's seat of OUR country.

THEY'VE GOT TO GO and we're the only ones who can stop them by firing them by vote.

i'm not gonna let white libruls like Mr. Damon off the hook for 2010….sadly, black folx are notorious for 'skipping out' on the midterms, but white liberals spent the majority of the president's 1st two years before the mid terms whining about his testicles and what he wasn't doing FOR THEM, FAST ENOUGH…..that's why his boy George Clooney clowned his azz (Matt's) before the 2012 election…..

and I don't believe he voted for the president in 2012…..

    • We can't prove it, but it wouldn't surprise me at all to discover he really didn't vote for Obama.
