According to producer Chris Nee of Donald Trump’s reality show “The Apprentice”, footage exists of Trump using the N-word, but Jezebel reports that the video hasn’t been released for legal reasons.
Nee claims personnel from the show face a $5 million dollar legal penalty for leaking the N-word footage per their contracts.
“The price is 5 million to cover the penalty fee,” Nee wrote. “And we all get to hear him use the N word from what I hear.”
He continued: “I don’t have the tapes. I’ve signed a Burnett contract & know leak fee is 5 mill. Hearing from producers/crew N word is the ‘much worse.”
Buzzfeed reports that ‘Apprentice’ creator and Trump supporter Mark Burnett has already threatened personnel from the show:
Burnett, the producer of The Apprentice, and his production company have not responded to requests for comment from BuzzFeed News and many other outlets since grotesque outtakes from another show rocked Trump’s campaign Friday, even as former staffers have suggested on Twitter (without clear evidence) that The Apprentice material could be just as damaging.
But the person familiar with Burnett’s thinking told BuzzFeed News that the producer is backing his star.
Burnett “is pro-Trump and has made clear to his teams that he will sue anyone who leaks,” the person said.
Trump is currently in hot water for bragging about being able to grab a woman’s p—y in a 2005 audio with Billy Bush. Bush was suspended from the ‘Today’ show over the old comments.
“We want to note one other thing. Pending further review of the matter, NBC News has suspended Billy Bush as the host of Today’s third hour for his role in that conversation with Donald Trump,” spokesperson Savannah Guthrie said.
