Omarosa: Detractors “Will Have to Bow Down” to President Trump

PBS released a trailer of a ‘Frontline’ special about the election featuring Omarosa Manigault, formerly of ‘TheOmarosa Apprentice’. In the interview, Manigault, who currently serves as Donald Trump’s African-American outreach director, says the presidential hopeful’s naysayers will eventually be forced to eat their words.

“Donald Trump is running for president because he believes that he can help turn the nation around,” Manigault says. “More importantly, every critic, every detractor will have to bow down to President Trump.”

The quote is sure to raise some eyebrows, but that won’t be a first for the former reality star.

Manigault was one of Trump’s earliest supporters.

“I know his character and his heart, and I know the vision he has for the country is real, and because I have been with him for 13 years I know what he puts his mind to, he does it with excellence,” Manigault, 42, told Variety in the spring of this year.

In July Manigault told the Daily News that she believes Trump can make gains in the African-American community.

“I wonder who they polled, I just spent an amazing weekend with African-Americans for Trump, about 300 of them,” Manigault said. “Those numbers would be flawed according to the people who have come out to support.”

In a speech Tuesday, Trump made a pitch to African-American voters by asserting that they’d been taken for granted by Democrats.

“To every voter in Milwaukee, to every voter living in the inner city or every forgotten stretch of society, I’m running to offer you a much better future,” Trump said, referencing the recent riots in the city. “They’ve taken African-Americans for granted. They just assume they’ll get their support. They’ve taken advantage of the African-American citizen. It’s time to give the Democrats some competition for these votes.”

Trump accused Clinton of bigotry and says she hurts poor people more than she helps them.

“She doesn’t care at all about the hurting people of this country or the suffering she has caused them,” Trump said. “Now is the time for new leadership. The Hillary Clinton agenda hurts poor people by far the most.”
