FORBES Black Billionaires 2013

ForbesForbes released the list of Billionaires. Of the 1,426 people who made it to the 2013 FORBES list of the World’s Billionaires, only 7 are black. These are the 7 who made the cut:

#1 Aliko Dangote, $16.1 billion

55, Nigerian. Sugar, Cement, Flour

Owns  Dangote Cement, the continent’s largest cement producer.

#2 Mohammed Al-Amoudi, $13.5 billion

68, Saudi Arabian.  Oil Refineries, Mining

He now sits atop Midroc Group, a sprawling conglomerate that owns oil refineries in Morocco and Sweden and oil fields off West Africa.

#3 Mike Adenuga, $4.7 billion

59, Nigerian. Oil, Telecoms

His Conoil Producing Limited is one of Nigeria’s largest indigenous oil explorers. He also owns Globacom, Nigeria’s second largest mobile phone network.
