Linebackers D.J. Pettway and Tyler Hayes were charged with second-degree robbery. Defensive back Eddie Williams was charged with both fraudulent use of a credit card and second-degree robbery.”

“Two UA students reported that they were approached by two individuals asking for a light before being struck in the head and their belongings taken,” according to the police.  University police say the robberies happened Monday at 12:35 a.m. and 1:20 a.m.

The report indicates that Williams was also charged Sunday with carrying a pistol without a license.

This is not Calloway’s first arrest. He was charged with possession of marijuana in October of 2011.

All of the players had been released from jail as of Tuesday morning. At the time of this report, none of the players had made any statements to the media.  The players were all a part of the University of Alabama’s backup team last year.
