Tension is evident within the Dallas Cowboys camp. Following the death of one team member and the incarceration of the other team member, reports are swarming that a heated argument ensued between franchise owner Jerry Jones and nose tackle Jay Ratliff after the victorious game against Philadelphia on Sunday. Jones is known for visiting his team's locker room after each game to give the men words of encouragement. When he approached Ratliff, he made a simple statement: " We need you ." Ratliff rose to his feet and a 'volcanic' argument -- as described per the Dallas Cowboys insider -- ensued. Team officials separated the men, preventing the confrontation from turning physical. Jones' comment comes after Ratliff's replacement, Josh Brent, faces intoxication and manslaughter charges stemming from the fatal car crash that killed Jerry Brown, Jr. Ratliff hasn't played since Nov. 18 due to a variety of injuries. He's only one year into a five-year, $40 million contract. " They're both passionate men and great men and they want to win , that's all it is ," an anonymous source told Dallas' CBS affiliate. " But they were in each other's faces. People had to intervene ." This isn't Ratliff's first locker room confrontation. Last year, he got into a shouting match with a Cowboys beat reporter.
