Katt Williams Comes Out Of Retirement After Only Four Days

What's Going On

This has got to be the quickest un-retirement ever. TMZ is reporting that Katt Williams is now, “unretired”. It only took four days for the comedian to decide to come out of retirement. Katt had announced earlier this week that he was “ kinda done” with comedy, after harsh treatment in Seattle.  Katt’s management team let TMZ know that their client is “definitely NOT retiring. He will be moving forward with the tour … Friday is Texas, Saturday New Orleans, and on to Alabama.”

Translation? Katt has other venues that have contracted him to perform and he cannot get out of it. It was management’s job to talk him off of his ledge and get him back to work. Katt’s management also said, “The reason why he made remarks was due to him feeling totally disrespected by all the things that happened to him in the city of Seattle. He had a moment where he felt very unappreciated. He now just wants to move forward from those unfortunate events and give his fans outstanding shows from this point forward.”

Katt still has to face a Seattle judge, as TMZ has learned that he was charged with 2 counts of  4th degree misdemeanor assault for the bar fight  he was arrested for, over the weekend. The fight resulted in him threatening the bar manager with a pool cue and throwing a cigarette at a woman’s eye.
