We all miss Whitney Houston. She had a troubled life, but beautiful vocals. Whitney’s daughter Bobbi is also having some trouble with her own life, and we hope that she learns from the mistakes of her mother. She is definitely learning from the skills of her mom, with plans to do a duet with her in the near future. It should be interesting to watch the daughter singing alongside the mom.
According to the Enquirer, Bobbi Kristina intends to lay down her own vocals over the track to her mom’s 1985 breakthrough hit, “Saving All My Love for You.”
“She appreciates that the song started her mother on the road to success and believes it can do the same for her,” says a source close to the family. “She wants to keep some of Whitney’s vocals on the track, and then add some of her own to make it a duet.”
“Natalie Cole did the same thing with one of her dad Nat’s trademark songs, ‘Unforgettable,’ and it wound up being the biggest hit of her career. That’s Krissi’s blueprint.”
However, Aunt Pat and Grandmother Cissy Houston believe that Krissy would be “making the mistake of her life” by attempting to use her mother’s fame as a shortcut to stardom, says the insider.
Despite the criticism, Krissi plans to record the duet next year, if she can secure the rights to her mom’s hit song.
