From 2005-2007 R. Kelly shocked the world with his hip-hopera styled “Trapped in the Closet” music videos. The original series, which was twenty two chapters in length, told the story of a one night stand gone terribly wrong. I’m sure we can all remember tuning into our TV’s and computers to see the latest crazy premiere of a “Trapped in the Closet” chapter.

Fast forward to 2012 and we see R. Kelly’s return to his “Trapped in the Closet” franchise. This fall, the IFC cable network will air new episodes of the series it helped launch back in 2007.  Kell’s has reportedly written thirty two episodes for the season two premiere.  It’s unclear whether or not IFC will air all of the chapters.

Sylvester, Rufus, Cathy Gwendolyn, Bridget, Big Man and the rest of the crew bring back the drama in this IFC teaser of “Trapped in the Closet.”

  1. Read who is raving about bag and also the key reason why you should be worried.

  2. I think we all know aint nothing trapped in the closet anymore, Kelly. All the nasty mess is out for sure. Atlanta’s men are a perfect example of that. Or shall I say Shem’s ! It’s a dam shame that our men are crossing over to other men and not giving a dam how many beautiful women they are leaving behind. How are children to be born ? Or have they found a way to concieve between 2 men now ? For me this has gotten out of hand. But the Bible speakes of this, so its said, now its being braught to life unfortunately.
